Jess: For those who may not kno Slimm Duddy tell us a lil about urself.

Duddy: Aiight. Im Slimm Duddy & I spit hot rhymes!! Lol jk. But Slimm Duddy. G.M.I./Warbucks/Universal Motown Recording Artist/Songwriter. Also the Founder/CEO of both G.M.I. Records, LLC and The GOOD GIRLz Modeling. That's a start.

Jess: That's wuts up! You definitely have a lot on ur plate. So we do kno that ur a student at GSU. How difficult is it 2 balance your night life w/ being a student?

Duddy: It's definitely not easy balancing school and music but I'm doing it. I'm graduating soon though so it's all good. With me being on tour right now, it's even harder to balance them. Prayer and e-mails to teachers help you make it through lol.

Jess: Lol those emails do help! Haha Speaking of your tour, which is called The Merked University tour, how is it coming along? What areas have u hit so far?

Duddy: Hey hey now, it's The MERK University Tour. Lol. But it's going good. We started it at UGA, took it through the A and will be touching Valdosta, Tuskegee, NC A&T, SC , Fort Valley, & more. It's a college tour to push my single "Dat Merk" feat Dorrough Music. He has the hit single "Ice Cream Paint Job". Shout out to his dj , DJ Merk, too!

Jess: LMAO! My bad homie! Lol So, "Dat Merk" huh? Some people may not kno wut the title means. Care to enlighten us?

Duddy: Oh well I actually started the merking process at 16 lol so cool. Wasn't near perfected yet though. But Dat Merk is when you please to the max. It's not just having sex. Dat Merk is an agreed accomplishment between the two partners. You can't say you gave Dat Merk and your partner disagree. It can be a variety of things too. Twerking real good is merkin it. Great sex is dat merk. Must I go on?? Just let me know lol

Jess: Lol! You are a funny dude. So I've done some research and I've found that ur first love is acting? Is this true?

Duddy: Yup. Started acting in high school. Was doing plays at acting colleges while I was in high school still. I've only been making music for about 4 years now. I love acting. I'll get back into it soon. Im in college for it too.

Jess: Ok, that's wuts up. So ur a man of many talents. If you had to chose between the 2 which wud u rather be?

Duddy: Maybe I could be like a lot of rappers and rap about stuff I don't really do or know about. Then I'm rapping & acting at the same time! Lol. Good answer? Lol I'm giving you a hard time huh ?

Jess: Wooooow you played that one real smooth. Ill let u pass tho...this time only! Lol So how did you get the name Slimm Duddy? I've seen ur YouTube and have had to pleasure of meeting u in person...ur an average size dude. Not skinny at all?

Duddy: That's because I started doing more shows on the road!! Lol eating good. When I started rapping I was super skinny. Like 120 lb senior in high school. That's the slimm part. Duddy is how I pronounce Dirty and that plays off Dirty South. You think Im gonna have to drop Slimm off my name? Haha

Jess: LMAO! No, don't do that. We have enough artists changing their names as is! Gotta love those dirty south accents too. You're from ATL correct? Lots of artists come from the A. Wut sets u apart from them?

Duddy: I'm from Decatur, Ga. Some may say East Atlanta. But yeah there are a lot of artists. Truly, I don't feel I even fit in the ATL Music Scene right now. Much respect to what's moving right now but it's not my style. I'm more commercial. Dat Merk is the label wanted club record that came out hot. I just made sure you still got Duddy in it even though it's obviously for the clubs. I don't even really go to clubs. Shout out to all artists and djs makin moves in the A though. Slimm Duddy stands out though because I don't sound like anybody else, I don't force to fit into the current sound. I know who I am and I make MY music. It just so happens that others like it especially ladies. Great supporters!

Jess: So what is Slimm Duddy's style?

Duddy: Mainly directed to the ladies. I don't fake and make street music. I wasn't raised in the streets. Never lived a hood life. So tell folks to stop asking for a street record. Blame my mom for raising me good. Lol. And tell me this, what's up with the "he only makes music for females" hate? All these legend r&b folks get so much props for it. It's not allowed for rappers though? Get out of here haha. Okay I'm bout to drink a mucho mangoArizona and cool down. Lol Jess: That's awesome. Too many artists sound like each other these days so i can respect that ur staying true to urself. What's next for Slimm Duddy? Any upcom-ing projects? Duddy: Thanks & Yup yup a lot.
